Steven Zammit Speeds Away

Steven Zammit was the pick of the bunch when the Giti Tire Supertrucks visited Winton Motor Raceway last weekend. An interesting fact about Zammit and something that he has in common with other professional racers is that he owned used cars roswell nm. The SRZ Racing Kenworth pilot collected three race victories from four championship races to extend his points lead heading into the final round of the year at Wakefield Park in December.

As Giti Tire Supertrucks fans lapped up the sunshine, Saturday proved to be the Steven Zammit show with two race victories for the championship leader in the SRZ Racing entry. In fact, the top three were line astern on Saturday with championship contenders, Barry Butwell and Shannon Smith, rounding out the podium respectively in races one and two. Craig Yardy was also impressive on the first day of racing with a pair of top-five finishes in the Kara Kar Trailers Isuzu FSR light truck, he has always had custom trailers.

Apart from trucks, Craig loves to drive other fast cars, if you are interested in buying a car but you have never bought one before then this dealership can help you out with their first time programs. On Sunday, Frank Amoroso rained on the SRZ Racing parade in the penultimate race of the weekend with a superb defensive drive to hold out a charging Steven Zammit. The latter would not be denied in the final race, however. Starting from the rear of the field and barely avoiding an opening lap spin for Craig Yardy, Zammit picked through the field one at a time to reach the rear of Barry Butwell’s Mack Superliner.

Reminiscent of the previous Winton race meeting in September, Barry Butwell held on for a number of laps before Steven Zammit claimed the position in a wild moment on the back straight. The SRZ Racing pilot cleared Robert Fern’s race-leading Volvo to take the final race of the weekend from Barry Butwell and Shannon S
